Who runs this site

The short version

emergencyplumbersomaha.com is published by Emergency Plumbers Omaha. We do plumbing at the customer's address across the Omaha metro — houses, rentals, small commercial. There is no shop you can walk into, which is why you will not find a street address anywhere on this site.

The site does two jobs. It tells you how to reach us, and it keeps a library of guides about the plumbing problems Omaha houses actually have.

How the guides get written

Every guide is written and reviewed in-house. The order never changes:

1. Start from the call. Each guide begins with a real complaint — a line that froze, a basement floor drain backing up, a water heater that quit — not with a keyword.
2. Check it against the thing itself. Manufacturer documentation, Omaha and Douglas County code where code applies, and how the repair is actually done in the field.
3. Say what you can do first. If the fix is a shut-off valve and a wet vac, that goes at the top, before anything about calling us. That costs us work. It is still the right order.
4. Date it and revisit it. Prices move, codes change, products get discontinued.

About the prices on this site

The dollar figures in the service pages and the FAQs are ranges for the Omaha metro, collected so you can tell whether a quote you were handed is in the normal band. They are not our price list and they are not an offer. What a job costs depends on access, the age of the line and what has to come apart to reach it — you get that number before work starts, not from a web page.

What is deliberately missing

• No reviews, no star rating. We have not collected verifiable reviews, so we publish none. A number with nothing behind it is worse than no number.
• No street address. We work at your address. Listing one nobody can visit would be decoration.
• No named author on the articles. We would rather carry no byline than a byline that answers for nothing. Responsibility for the content sits with the publisher of the site — see the legal notice.
• No license numbers or badges on display. A website cannot verify a credential. Ask for it directly and check it with the issuing body; that is the only check that means anything.
• No job photos. The images here are illustrative. They are not our work.

Found a mistake?

Tell us through the contact page. Wrong price, outdated code reference, a step that is no longer how it is done — corrections are the cheapest improvement this site gets, and we would rather have them.
